Hampden Park has been Scotland’s national stadium since 1903 and holds a unique place in football history. It was the largest stadium in the world for several decades, setting a European attendance record of 149,547 for the 1937 Scotland vs England Home Championship match – a record that still stands.

The modern Hampden was redeveloped through the 1990s and 2000s to become an all-seater stadium while retaining its status as one of the great atmospheric grounds in world football. It hosted matches at Euro 2020/2021, where Scotland played their home group stage games.

For Euro 2028, Hampden hosts the Group F games – meaning all of Scotland’s group matches will be played here if they qualify – plus a Round of 16 tie and a Quarter-Final. The quarter-final will see the Dublin R16 winners face the Birmingham R16 winners.
